Six.02 was established in 2018 by a team of entrepreneurs with deep experience leading bioservices and life sciences companies. They are applying their years of experience working with biopharmaceutical, vaccine, and diagnostic innovators to set a new paradigm for quality and client service in protein-related bioservices.
Michael Keefe, MBA

Michael Keefe has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the bioservices industry. Most recently, at A&G Pharmaceutical, he secured significant private equity and strategic investment that enabled the company’s therapeutic division to move from candidate R&D to “first in human” clinical trials. Concurrently, Mr. Keefe oversaw the sales and marketing operations of A&G’s antibody development service division, Precision Antibody Services. During his nine-year tenure as Chief Operating Officer for Precision Antibody, he grew the division from start-up into a multimillion-dollar revenue center. Mr. Keefe received a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

David Hicks has more than 35 years of international experience in leadership roles at instrumentation, diagnostic, research and development, and oncology therapeutic companies, where his responsibilities have covered Lab Sciences, Sales & Marketing, Quality & Regulatory, Intellectual Property, Business Development, and General Management. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Hicks has held senior positions at oncology-focused companies: Celsion, Northwest Biotherapeutics, and A&G Pharmaceutical. He previously served as a director at Serologicals, a company involved in the roll-up of plasma donor centers and life sciences companies before it was acquired by EMD Millipore in 2006. Mr. Hicks is an Applied Biology graduate of de Montfort University, England.

Patrick Keefe is a Principal at Bridge Healthcare Partners, a consulting advisory firm for private equity groups and other institutional investors. He previously was Chief Operating Officer of Omnicare, a Fortune 500 company that provided best-in-class pharmacy services that was established through the roll-up of hundreds of independent, long term-care pharmacies. Omnicare eventually became the leading provider of pharmacy services for long term-care facilities in the U.S. and was acquired by CVS in 2015. Mr. Keefe received a BSPh from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Georgia State University.
